Young Life Partnership

You can receive Trinity graduate credit for Young Life staff training courses, and begin working on a seminary degree. Course work (any 6 staff training courses), may be applied toward the free electives in all programs. All that’s needed is to submit a one-page special Visiting Student Application form before you can start earning TEDS credit. Several flexible study options are available where you can complete a degree program by combining online Distance Education courses, extension site courses and summer intensives on the Deerfield campus.

For YL full-time staff courses taken on Trinity’s Deerfield campus merit a 50% reduction in the per hour tuition pricing. This applies to full-or part-time students. Young Life staff enjoying the convenience of classes at one of TEDS Extensions sites will find tuition rates already significantly lower than the Deerfield campus.

Taking staff training courses for TEDS credit is simple, but it requires some important steps:

  1. Ask for a TEDS course registration form when signing up for Staff Training
  2. TEDS updates your transcript
  3. Upon completion of any 6 staff training courses (+ Apologetics) apply to a TEDS MA/Theological Studies degree program
  4. Take additional classes through TEDS flexible study options
  5. Graduate!

TEDS offers an excellent degree to propel you into ministry.
