Getting Started

Here are general guidelines for applying to TEDS for all degree programs. For more specific guidelines see our ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS >>

1. Complete your application

The online application includes the option to submit your application essays and upload your current resume or CV. You can also provide these to the admissions team after completion of your application. Additionally, the admission team will provide you a Letter of Recommendation Request form after your application is submitted. APPLY NOW >>

2. Official Transcripts

We’ll need your official transcripts from all colleges and universities you’ve attended since high school are required. If enrolled at the time of application, we will require transcripts of work finished to date and final transcripts upon completion of your degree.
We will request transcripts on your behalf with your signed release upon receiving your application. If we are not able to request your transcripts directly, please have official transcripts sent electronically to [email protected] or by mail to the following address:

3. Meet with an Academic Counselor

Our Academic counselors are here to help you set up for success for your first day of class at TEDS! Set up a meeting with them to ask any question and learn more about any all scholarship opportunities you qualify for!

After you apply

You will be contacted by one of our admissions counselors. Your admissions counselor will be your best resource for questions about your program, financial aid, and more. Upon completion of the admissions process, your file will be reviewed and an admissions decision made. Official notification of the decision will be sent by mail.

Applying as a visiting (non degree) student

Visiting students are those who wish to take master’s-level courses for credit on a part-time basis (9 credit hours or fewer) or who wish to take classes for no credit (audit). Students desiring to enroll full-time or in a program (Certificate, Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, ThM, DMin, or PhD) must complete the full application for admission to TEDS.
