The Promised Gift Of The Spirit

In this message, we will trace the Old Testament promise of the Holy Spirit to its fulfillment in Christ. The prophets Ezekiel (Ezekiel 36:23–32) and Jeremiah (Jeremiah 32:36–41) spoke of a new covenant where God would give His people a new heart and a new spirit, enabling them to obey Him. Jesus, in John 7:37–39, declares Himself the source of living water, which is the promised Spirit. This sermon will show that the Holy Spirit is not an optional add-on to the Christian life but a central and promised gift that makes genuine, Spirit-filled life and obedience possible.
