CURRICULUM

The Master of Divinity curriculum (87 hours total) is centered on four primary areas with one degree track of your choosing.
All Master of Divinity students must complete an internship. Field-based ministry experience is vital to the development of MDiv students. Field experiences are mentored experiences between students, faculty and church pastors. Mentoring provides opportunities to invest in the next generation of Christian leaders. Ministries are also enriched by having students serve in a church or parachurch setting.

Financial Aid

Did you know that nearly 95% of our students receive some form of financial aid? At Trinity we offer scholarships, grants, rebates, and other aid options to help pay for the cost of schooling. Learn more about what is available below or by contacting the Financial Aid Office at [email protected].

what Can i do with an MDIV Degree?

MDiv alumni have gone on to a wide variety of vocational pursuits, including pastors, denominational leaders, scholars, authors, community development leaders, and missionary workers in many different contexts locally, nationally, and globally. The MDiv is the prerequisite degree for Doctor of Ministry (DMin) programs and is the recommended graduate degree for those intending to pursue advanced theological study (usually at the ThM or PhD levels).

MA Theological Studies & MDiv

TEDS students who have completed the MA/Theological Studies may apply all hours to an MDiv. Since the entire MA/TS can be earned at our Extension Sites, and courses may be taken online, this is a great way to complete a significant portion of the MDiv. Talk to an admissions counselor for more information.

“The world needs right-minded and right-hearted pastor-theologians and I can’t imagine doing anything more important than training students to teach doctrine in ways that make disciples, form citizens of the gospel, and build up local churches. Nor is there anywhere better to do it than TEDS – a veritable microcosm of global evangelicalism.”
