Why Partner With TEDS?

The church needs leaders who are biblically and theologically equipped to serve the needs of the 21st-century church. In response to the changing landscape of theological education and the need for more trained leaders, through our fully accredited Certificate Programs, churches and organizations around the world can partner with TEDS to prepare the Body of Christ for deeper engagement and participation in the mission of God.
What is a “Church Partnership”?
Churches that intentionally encourage and invite staff and/or key leaders to enrich their ministry by investing in formal theological training through TEDS.
How do we partner together?
We work with churches and potential students to combine TEDS online classes with the formation, community life, and hands-on experiences that come through their local church and their pastoral leadership.

Greetings Pastors & Ministry Leaders!

As a pastor and leader, I’ve asked many of the same questions you are asking in regards to ministry, disciple-making, and leadership. And we’re listening!  At TEDS, we value biblical truth, personal spiritual transformation, and equipping men and women for real-life ministry. Our programs are rooted in scripture and taught by world-class faculty whose deepest desire is that each student gain a solid foundation in theology, biblical studies, and ministry skills.

Partnering with you and your church, we can faithfully ensure  emerging leaders have the deep understanding, adaptability, and critical thinking skills needed to navigate today’s complex church and cultural landscape. Take a look at some of the new ways we are engaging with pastors to make disciples fully equipped for the mission of the church.  I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you in the coming weeks, months and years. Together, we will seek God’s direction for His church, and build stronger bridges between the local church and theological training here at TEDS.

Partnership Plans

Your leaders will be equipped to address the prominent issues facing the church today. Your church will be prepared by strategically investing in future leaders through 3 easy-to-adopt levels of Partnerships:

Enrichment Partners

Church or ministry that invites staff and/or key leaders to enrich their ministry by investing in formal theological training.

Collaborative Partners

Church or ministry that invites staff and/or key leaders to enrich their ministry by investing in formal theological training. Church or ministry also hosts local meetings of students who are taking courses to discuss what they are learning and how it applies to the local church or ministry context.

Training Partners

Church or ministry that have a new or existing leadership development program and would like to offer a few in-person courses locally while students complete the remaining courses for their program online.

Steps to becoming a partner

  1. Identify staff/leaders who might be better equipped to serve in their ministries through formal theological education.
  2. Explore TEDS Certificate options and discuss course modality preferences of staff/leaders (residential/in person AND/OR asynchronous/fully online).
  3. Fill out partnership form to meet with our Director of Church Relations to discuss which partnership model and certificate(s) might be best for your church or ministry.
