Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) is the seminary of Trinity International University, forming the next generation of ministers and scholars whose minds and hearts are captivated by the gospel of Christ.

We offer educational programs that prepare men and women to engage in God’s redemptive work in the world through many vocational opportunities, such as counseling, teaching and writing, pastoral leadership, and missional service in increasingly diverse and international contexts. Coursework is available on our Deerfield and Florida campuses, as well as online.

You will need to provide recommendations from the following four people (to be submitted electronically through the online application): (1) Ministry supervisor; (2) Ministry colleague; (3) Lay leader; and (4) Chairman of church board, professor, denominational official OR professional acquaintance.

You will need to provide recommendations from the following four people (to be submitted electronically through the online application): (1) Ministry supervisor; (2) Professor from recent graduate studies; (3) Professional colleague; and (4) Lay person from your church.

3. SUBMIT an electronic sample of published writing or a recent academic research paper to demonstrate potential for original research at the doctoral level. Please email writing samples to [email protected] in PDF format.

4. SUBMIT official scores from the Miller Analogies Test (preferred) or the Graduate Record Exam. Please use the institutional code for Trinity International University when submitting scores.

5. COMPLETE the Incoming Student Scholarship Application.

AFTER YOU APPLY

You will be contacted by one of our admissions counselors, who will guide you through the admission process. Your admissions counselor will be your best resource for questions about your program, financial aid, and the like. Upon completion of the admissions process, your file will be reviewed and an admission decision made. Official notification of the decision will be sent by mail.

APPLY AS A VISITING (NON-DEGREE) STUDENT

Visiting Students are those who wish to take master’s-level courses for credit on a part-time basis (9 credit hours or fewer) or who wish to take classes for no credit (audit). Students desiring to enroll full-time or in a program (Certificate, Master’s of Arts, Master’s of Divinity, ThM, DMin, or PhD) must complete the full application for admission to TEDS.
