The Clothes Horse

Faculty wives began this ministry at Trinity over 50 years ago, and the ministry of the Clothes Horse is made possible today by the work and contributions of many people.

Donations

The Clothes Horse accepts donations of gently used or like-new items of items on this list:
  • Clothing of all sizes
  • Toys
  • Small household items
  • Chapel is open to all family members
  • Non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, cereal, rice, tuna, pasta, and canned fruit (Please do not bring expired goods.)
We do not accept large furniture items. There is very little space in the store, so all items must be small enough to hang on a rack or sit on a shelf. Large furniture items can be donated to the furniture room for international students.
There is a bin northeast of the building in between C and D apartments, where donations may be placed after hours. Donors may contact the store in advance to schedule an after-hours donation at [email protected]. Please try to schedule at least a week in advance. Note: All donations are tax deductible. Please ask for a receipt inside the store or request that one be mailed to you.
Financial contributions, including online or cash donations, may be made through Advancement and University Relations at Trinity. Gifts should be designated for “The Clothes Horse.” Monetary gifts go directly to purchasing food items.
Checks can also be made, payable to Trinity International University, memo line: “The Clothes Horse” and mailed to:
