ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
Since 2021, Professor Brockmeier has worked for the federal government, serving as an Associate General Counsel with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). During his time at DCMA, he has handled a wide variety of contract and fiscal law issues for in-house procurement and acquisition, drafted and reviewed numerous government ethics opinions to prevent conflicts of interest, extensively litigated labor and employment law cases, and provided legal advice on many other administrative and general law matters.
From 2014 to 2020, he served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. While in the Army, he primarily handled criminal law matters, including time as both a prosecutor and defense counsel. He deployed to Kuwait and earned the Army Commendation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, among other awards.
He joined the Trinity Law School faculty in 2022 and currently lives in Orange County, CA with his wife Yolanda and their four children.
