Dr. Patrick is a Professor of Theology, Law, and Culture at Veritas International University where she teaches Christian Ethics, Gospel and Culture, Interpersonal Communications, and Apologetics and the Art of Persuasion. She is also a course designer and instructor for Trinity Law School and taught for Horizon University. She is a longtime faculty member at San Diego State University and the University of San Diego, and regularly guest lectures at other educational institutions.

Dr. Patrick taught human trafficking at Faith and Law Around the Globe conferences in Hong Kong and South Africa and taught a course in Human Trafficking at Handong International Law School in South Korea, which included joining a student ministry to sex workers in Pohang’s red-light district. She regularly teaches sexual assault prevention for the Army, having presented programs domestically as well as in Bavaria and Wiesbaden, Germany.

Dr. Patrick is past president of the Christian Legal Society Metro New York chapter, an elected member of the American Law Institute, and a member of the San Diego District Attorney Inter-Faith Advisory Board. She sits on the Board of Directors for Pacific Theological Seminary.
