ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
Professor Wendy Rice brings over two decades of real-world experience in the automotive industry to her work as both a practicing attorney and legal educator. She offers students and colleagues a rare insider perspective on the complex legal frameworks that drive global supply chain and procurement systems.
A licensed general practice attorney in Birmingham, Alabama, Professor Rice focuses on document and contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and estate planning. She is deeply committed to the legal profession and the delivery of thoughtful, high-quality services that reflect integrity, clarity, and compassion.
In addition to her legal practice, she serves as a Bar Exam Prep Instructor with Themis Bar Review, where she supports and mentors future attorneys preparing for the MEE and MPT. Drawing from her own journey, she provides encouragement grounded in experience: success is possible with diligence, faith, and perseverance.
Known for her strategic mindset, disciplined leadership, and deep sense of purpose, Professor Rice integrates a values-based approach to law and leadership. She believes in honoring the responsibility of serving others—both in the legal field and in the classroom—as part of her greater calling.
Outside work, Wendy enjoys spending time with family, serving on the church worship team, running local 5Ks, baking, and getting lost in a good book. She is also in the final stages of her first devotional, Let’s Pray—a heartfelt guide for those seeking a deeper relationship with God through spiritual truth and prayer.
