ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
Stephen S. Kao, Esq. has practiced law for nearly thirty years in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina, representing churches, church associations, Christian ministries, and church members across the United States, including the American Bible Society, where he presently serves as Chief Legal Officer. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University, where he graduated cum laude, and from the University of Virginia School of Law. Throughout his career, he has taught in multiple academic, professional, and church environments, including The Rutherford Institute and Justice Fellowship internship courses for college and law students; Christian Legal Society National Conference educational seminars for legal professionals; Columbia, Cornell, and University of Virginia human rights and religious freedom lectures for law students; Contract Management Training for ministry professionals; corporate change management presentations for ministry leaders; law and politics seminars for church pastors; estate planning workshops for church members; and various sermons at local churches.
