ADJUNCT FACULTY
Sarah Flagel serves as a Supervising Attorney of the Immigration Clinic. She is also the Managing Attorney of World Relief Chicagoland’s Asylum Legal Clinic where she represents immigrants seeking safety in the U.S. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Clinic, Sarah is a frequent guest trainer and regularly consults on immigration program design and best practices. Prior to joining World Relief, Sarah helped initiate legal services for immigrant victims of violent crimes and domestic violence at Catholic Charities Chicago. She received her J.D. with a concentration in International Human Rights Law from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) School of Law, an M.A. in International Studies from DePaul University, and a B.A. from Taylor University. Sarah is fluent in Spanish and considers Costa Rica her second home.
