Lieutenant Jacob R. Weaver is a judge advocate in the United States Navy. He earned a B.A. in history from Hillsdale College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Eskridge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Honorable Edith H. Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. LT Weaver entered active-duty military service in 2023. He currently serves as Trial Counsel at Region Legal Service Office Southwest, where he prosecutes federal crimes and collaborates with law enforcement to investigate criminal activity.

LT Weaver is a Blackstone Fellow with Alliance Defending Freedom, a James Wilson Fellow with the James Wilson Institute, and a John Marshall Fellow with the Claremont Institute. His academic interests include military justice, constitutional law, jurisprudence, and arbitration.
