Mr. Ellison is an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Law School and teaches Criminal Law. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Illinois and he graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago Law School. He has a Double Masters Cum Laude in Christian Studies and Counseling Ministries from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and he was a Board Certified Chaplain in Chicago.

He was the senior Felony Trial District Attorney in Chicago, Cook County, IL for 6 years. Mr. Ellison tried hundreds of felony cases, including capital case juries.

Mr. Ellison has been a civil trial attorney for over 37 years, and he was the former President of own civil trial law firm in Chicago & San Francisco. He won multi-million-dollar jury verdicts in New York, Michigan, Illinois, and Nebraska.

He had an A/V Martindale Hubbell Rating which was the highest ranking in skill & integrity. On behalf of Cook County, IL., Mr. Ellison was Counsel for the nationally recognized Mikva Commission (Justice Abner Mikva, who chose him and his firm as Counsel, was the former Chief White House Counsel to President Bill Clinton) to investigate the cause of the 2003 Cook County Administration Building fire, which killed 6 County employees who were in the stairwells.

In his free time, Mr. Ellison acted in Chicago theaters and now acts in Phoenix theaters. He has varying proficiency levels in Spanish, French, and Modern Greek.
