ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
Professor Doreen O’Connor is a licensed attorney, barred in both Connecticut and Federal courts. She has a diverse background spanning law, leadership development, and community engagement. She holds a Ph.D. from Regent University, a Master’s from Eastern University, a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Throughout her career, Dr. O’Connor has provided legal counsel in property law, business formation, tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions. She has worked with experts in sectors such as oil, gas, chemicals, financial services, and AI.
Doreen is also deeply committed to her community. As the founder of Good Soil Initiative, Inc., she focuses on leadership consulting and grant proposal training, helping churches and other nonprofit organizations develop effective leadership practices. Her background in church leadership, including over a decade as Executive Pastor, has equipped her to mentor leaders, implement outreach programs, and manage complex operations.
