Mr. Martin is a partner at Leavitt & Martin, PLLC in Richmond, VA. He practices in the areas of criminal law, constitutional law, personal injury, wrongful death, and estate planning. He also taught at Liberty University serving as a professor in the undergraduate Jesse Helms School of Government. In this role, he was the chair of the pre-law program and pre-law advisor. He taught courses such as constitutional law, jurisprudence, legal writing, criminal law, and torts. He also led the undergraduate moot court program while at Liberty. Additionally, he taught at the law school level teaching Legal Research and Writing as adjunct professor at the Liberty University School of Law.

Mr. Martin has been married to his wife Peyton for 27 years and has five children. He serves as an elder at his local church and leads small groups at the church.
