Professor Camphuis is a Southern California native hailing from a small mountain town in the San Gabriels.

He started his college career by studying theology, spending over a year and a half in York, England at Calvary Chapel Bible College York. He subsequently earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, with a minor in Biblical Studies.

Before going to law school he spent three years in the ministry as a Jr. High youth leader. He then was called to the mission field and completed a year of mission’s work in Cuenca, Ecuador.

After that, he returned to California where he obtained his Juris Doctor from Trinity Law School, where he was awarded with the highest honor at commencement by election of the faculty. In law school he participated in various societies and was a member of law review, and is a published law review article author.

After law school, he went on to pass the California state bar on his first attempt. While awaiting bar results he obtained his MLS in Human Rights and Criminal Justice from Trinity Law School. He is currently working on a post doctorate law degree (LLM) in international law, with an emphasis in Jurisprudence at Liberty Law School.

He has practiced in various areas such as civil litigation, administrative law, trusts and estates planning, and tax defense law.

Currently he is a successful full time Deputy District Attorney for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office, where he is assigned to general felonies as a trial attorney.

He enjoys the outdoors, practicing various martial arts, living a healthy and active lifestyle, and exercising at the gym.
