Professor Brockmeier is a civilian employee of the U.S. Department of Defense. He currently serves as an Associate General Counsel for Ethics and Personnel for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). In that capacity, he represents DCMA and litigates labor and employment law cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA). He also provides legal advice to DCMA personnel on government ethics laws and regulations, such as financial disclosures to avoid conflicts of interest. Professor Brockmeier previously worked for the State Bar of California and served six years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He is married with four children.
