Georg Freitag

Georg Freitag was born and raised in Austria. At the age of 15, he came to know Christ as his Savior through a high school friend and a gospel tract by evangelist Bill Bright. After he graduated from high school in 2000, he worked for one year at Austrian Airlines to earn money for college in the United States. Subsequently, he attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, as an international student. In 2004, he graduated with his B.A. in Biblical Studies and went to California, where he taught Bible, English, and Spanish at private schools in Redlands and Lake Arrowhead for six years. After earning his M.S. in Education from California Baptist University, he transitioned into law enforcement and served as a sworn peace officer for eight years at the Riverside County Probation Department. During this time, he became interested in criminal law and attended Trinity Law School, receiving a J.D. in 2018. After passing the California Bar Exam the first time, he joined the Riverside County District Attorney's Office two years later, where he is currently employed as a prosecutor. Professor Freitag resides with his wife and three children in Lake Arrowhead, California.
