Donald McConnell attended Westmont College for his BA in Political Science and the University of Southern California for his JD. He practiced law full-time for 15 years while also teaching much of that time as an adjunct for the Simon Greenleaf School of Law and Trinity Law School. In 2001, he began to work full-time for Trinity. He was Dean of the law school for five years. In 2011, Donald began teaching at the Rivendell Sanctuary Great Books undergraduate program. In recent years, he has returned to teaching as an adjunct professor for Trinity Law School. He is the adult Sunday School teacher for his church in Quincy, Illinois, and lives in Taylor, Missouri. Professor McConnell enjoys miniature wargaming and is an amateur historian.
