Steven R. Cohen is an experienced attorney practicing condominium and homeowners’ association law, civil litigation, bankruptcy, and debt collection in Florida. With over 20 years of experience, Steven offers his clients a vast area of expertise and skills with care and attention to detail.

Steven represents community associations in various operational, corporate, and litigation matters. He is responsible for handling client matters related to Community Association Law and related litigation, providing legal opinions on Association Law, assisting with board member questions. Steven also represents clients in City Matters and related mediations, arbitrations, and hearings; interpreting of governing documents; drafting and reviewing contracts and settlement agreements; prosecuting lien foreclosure actions; and representing associations as creditors’ counsel in bankruptcy court. Prior to joining his current firm, Steven ran and operated a sole practitioner law firm for over 20 years. Representing both large and small HOAs in collection and foreclosure work, recall and collection issues, and numerous clients in real estate matters, bankruptcy, and debt defense. He has conducted and attended hundreds of real estate closings and has also held a real estate broker’s license. Steven also teaches as an Adjunct Law Professor at Trinity International University.
