Professor Lakuita Bittle is a licensed attorney and currently resides in Maryland. She is an Associate County Attorney in the Office of Law for Prince George's County, Maryland where she recently returned to practice in December 2024. She works in the Government Operations Unit where she provides legal advice, opinions and representation for County agencies, boards, and commissions. Prior to her current role, many Christian attorneys know her through former role as full time Director of Attorney Ministries at Christian Legal Society headquarters. Before CLS, Professor Bittle also worked as a criminal prosecutor for many years in the Office of the State's Attorney for Prince George's County (Maryland) where she prosecuted criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies such as armed robbery, carjacking and attempted murder.

Professor Bittle is a natural litigator with a passion for righteousness and justice as well as a dedication to public service. She loves serving on a community based nonprofit started by her pastor as well as within her local bar associations. She is also actively involved in her church as a deacon and worship leader. In her spare time, Professor Bittle enjoys music, traveling, mentoring, playing softball, and spending time with family and friends.
