Faculty Since 2018
Dr. Arcadi teaches and writes at the intersection of biblical studies, philosophy, and theology, always with an eye toward the practical and pastoral implications of academic work. From 2015 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Analytic Theology for Theological Formation Project at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, and, from 2015 to 2017, a Research Fellow in the Jewish Philosophical Theology Project at the Herzl Institute in Jerusalem, Israel. Prior to these appointments, he taught history, theology, and writing for seven years at Gordon College in Wenham, MA where he was also a Visiting Fellow in the Center for Faith and Inquiry.
Dr. Arcadi is on research leave for the 2021-22 academic year. He will be executing a $75,000 grant with Drs. Stephen Greggo and Geoffrey Fulkerson from the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s “Science for the Seminaries” Project. For the spring semester, he will be a Research Fellow in “The Creation Project” at the Carl F.H. Henry Center for Theological Understanding.
Alongside his academic work, Dr. Arcadi is ordained in the Anglican Church in North America having served at parishes in Massachusetts, California, and Illinois. He currently serves at All Souls Anglican Church in Wheaton, IL.
