The Biology major is a versatile, broad-based degree that emphasizes microbiology, cell and molecular biology, genetics, and various biological systems. Students with this degree pursue careers in medicine, industry, or research in a variety of settings.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO EARN MY DEGREE?

Most Biology majors complete their degrees in 3-4 years. Major requirements total 48-55 hours. This includes 33 hours of required Biology courses, 16 hours of supporting courses, and 3 hours of Bioethics courses.
