WHY STUDY BIBLICAL STUDIES AT TRINITY FLORIDA?

Studying biblical texts in light of their historical contexts is essential to accurately interpreting Scripture, but full understanding comes when you learn how to apply biblical truth to your daily life and future ministry. Trinity Florida provides opportunities for you to learn, interact with others in ministry, and engage with local pastors to prepare you for positions of leadership in the church or other ministries. A Biblical Studies major at Trinity Florida also thoroughly prepares you for seminary or further graduate studies. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO EARN MY DEGREE?

In addition to the core required courses across all majors Biblical Studies majors complete 48 credit hours in their program. The Biblical Studies major is part of Trinity Florida’s undergraduate program, which offers unique opportunities for learners to enhance their professional goals through accelerated education. Most Biblical Studies majors who enroll without college credits complete their degree in four years, but you are free to go at your own pace.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

Students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies will be able to analyze biblical texts in their historical, and theological
contexts, identify the basic elements of Christian ethics, and explain the major doctrines of Christianity, and relevantly apply the message of the gospel to their lives and communities.

In addition to the core required courses across all majors, students pursuing a Biblical Studies degree will focus on courses in the following areas: biblical interpretation, ministry, theology, and apologetics.
