Students will be able to apply 15 credits from the MLS towards their undergraduate degree which will reduce the number of required credits from 120 to 105, allowing them to advance into graduate work more quickly. The remaining 15 credits of their MLS incorporates an emphasis in criminal justice. Students graduating with a BA in Criminal Justice & MLS will be able to:

No course can satisfy two general education requirements, and only nine (9) credits can simultaneously count for both general education and any major.

WAYS YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR DUAL DEGREE

You can obtain your degrees in as little as 4 ½ years through multiple avenues. Both our BA in Criminal Justice and MLS are offered entirely online or in-person, or a combination of both. Get your BA at our Deerfield, IL campus or pursue it entirely online. Our MLS is offered at our law school in Santa Ana, California and is also available entirely online. You get to set the course for your future in the way that works the best for you.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or successful completion of the GED.
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (using a 4.0 scale) for all prior college work or high school work if no prior college credits.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in algebra and computer skills is also required.
  • Proof of English proficiency (for applicants whose first language was not English)
