Trinity College and Graduate School Welcome New Faculty

Trinity College and Trinity Graduate School welcome four new full-time faculty for the 2020–21 academic year. This is a photo of Jeff PriceVisiting Assistant Professor of Business Jeff Price, MBA, is a familiar face at Trinity College, having served as an adjunct (part time) faculty member since 2004. Professor Price worked at Kraft Foods prior to coming to Trinity, where he held a variety of marketing and promotional positions. He managed Kraft’s sports and entertainment marketing including their Olympics sponsorship. Later, he joined Frankel & Co., a marketing agency, as Vice President of Strategic Planning, where he also led the sports marketing and entertainment marketing groups. In addition to his work at Trinity, he is a strategic planning consultant. His clients include Ameritrade, Nutrisweet, Miller, and Kraft. Professor Price is an active member at Christ Church, Lake Forest, where, in addition to using his strategic planning and marketing skills, he plays piano and guitar on the worship team.   This is a photo of Tommy CarringtonDr. Tommy Carrington, Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology, has worked for Trinity since 1996, but his work until recently was at Trinity’s Florida campus. He has served as a juvenile justice chaplain, and ministries director for Miami Youth for Christ. He also founded Impact 922 Ministries, a ministry that focuses on training, coaching, and mentoring youth leaders. Dr. Carrington is a graduate of Miami Christian College, which later became Trinity Florida. He also holds degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; he is currently pursuing a PhD at TEDS in educational studies.     This is a photo of Danbee ParkVisiting Assistant Professor of Graphic Design Danbee Park is a 2015 graduate of Trinity College who has returned to her alma mater now as a faculty member. Since graduating from Trinity, she has work as an art director at Publications International, Ltd., and has also run her own freelance business in graphic design. Professor Park is currently finishing up her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Vermont College of Fine Arts, with anticipated graduation in October 2020. As a designer and artist, she is passionate about a variety of media including printmaking and illustration. Her work blends her personal cross-cultural experiences as a Korean who has lived in the U.S. and Romania with reflection on identity in Christ and our freedom to live into our true calling in Him, attempting, through her art, to uncover issues around unrealistic standards and expectations in culture.   This is a photo of Elena RobinsonDr. Elena Robinson joins the Trinity College and Trinity Graduate School faculty for one year as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Athletic Training. She has recently completed her doctorate in athletic training at Indiana State University; she is also a licensed athletic trainer. Dr. Robinson’s research interests include athletic training education, preceptorship, and leadership development. Dr. Robinson’s primary teaching and service assignments are with Trinity Graduate School’s Master of Arts in Athletic Training, which will close at the end of this academic year.
