Volleyball Team serves at food pantry “Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14).  Trinity’s Volleyball team showed love to our community by volunteering at Northern Illinois Food Bank and Mobile Pantry this past weekend. “It was uplifting to see the whole team come together and be excited about serving others,” said Madison Feagans (Biology ‘24). “I love how we were able to step outside of ourselves to serve our community."  This year, Trinity volleyball’s theme verse is 1 Corinthians 16:14 which will serve as a reminder to the team not just during practice and games, but as they interact with others on campus and in the community around Trinity.  “It was great helping out everyone and seeing how much we do impact the community around campus” - Emma Gallegos, Exercise Science ‘23 For Trinity athletes, their growth in the classroom, on campus, and their endeavors in the community are even more important than their time on the court. Coach Luke Ward and Assistant Coach Kennedy Mang, encourage their team to grow spiritually and reflect on ways each student-athlete can live out their faith and this theme verse.  The team thoroughly enjoyed serving as Bri Torres, Psychology '22 reflected, “For us, our hearts were filled and it helped us grow closer together as a team. We love our community!” IMG 5248
