Madsen Hall fosters a unique and intimate community in the heart of TIU’s campus. Madsen Hall is a co-ed residence hall located next to the Waybright Student Center and features three conjoined buildings that form a quiet inner courtyard.
Madsen Hall houses mostly upperclassmen in apartment-style living. This housing format creates an authentic sense of community, while still allowing students more independence as their academic responsibilities increase with practicums and internships. In addition to traditional floors overseen by RAs, Madsen houses Senior Privileged Housing, which allows students to begin the transition to life post-college.
Madsen’s community is often built around meals since students on each floor have access to at least one kitchen. Favorite residence hall activities include studying together, participating in Bible Studies, engaging in lively discussions with staff and faculty, playing video and board games, and just hanging out with friends.
