rights and justice, and to promote scholarship on human rights and related fields.\u00a0<\/p><p>Students research and write a scholarly paper on a topic approved by a faculty advisor. The student will give an oral defense of the paper, which will be open to the TLS community and conducted by the CHR defense committee. The committee may then grant the award of Student Scholar. for Human Rights is a research, education, and advocacy center for the promotion and protection of international human rights.
