To graduate with a Juris Doctor degree, you must successfully complete 74 units of required courses and 16 units of electives (90 units total) with C average (2.0 GPA). The Juris Doctor program can be completed in as little as three years full time and four years as either a part-time student or through the Flex Track program.
The Flex Track program allows applicants who do not meet the regular LSAT requirements but show academic promise the opportunity to take courses in the evenings for the first year. Students must rank in the top 20% of their cohort or pass the First Year Law Students’ Exam before continuing into their second year. From there, they are considered part of the regular JD program.
In addition, Trinity Law School offers the opportunity for practical experience through internships and clinics, allowing graduates to have an edge in today’s competitive job market.
Trinity’s broadly evangelical ethos includes many of the same emphases that accompanied the Law School’s original founding in 1980, including the integration of the Christian faith and other disciplines such as law and the humanities.
As an institution committed to inerrant Scripture, given by God as our final authority for faith and life, we hold ourselves accountable to it and to each other with regard to these values as we cultivate academic excellence, Christian faithfulness, and lifelong learning.
