ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
Professor Dena Sites earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from SDSU, cum laude, and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Judge David R. Chaffee of the Orange County Superior Court and clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. She earned multiple awards in law school, including Writer Finalist in 1L Intramural Moot Court Competition and CALI Excellence for the Future Award (designating highest grade in class) in Advanced Legal Writing; Interviewing, Counseling & Negotiating; and Estate Planning & Drafting.
Since 2014, Professor Sites has been a member of the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Central District of California, where she practiced primarily in civil litigation in the area of community development law. She served on Orange County Bar Association’s Legislative Resolutions Committee from 2015-2018, where she was the proponent of anti-human trafficking legislation to amend California Civil Code Section 52.6. Her love for God and the law came together when she joined Christian Legal Society, where she served on the Board of CLS’s Orange County Chapter from 2019-2020 before moving to Florida.
Professor Sites has taught Contracts and Real Property for Trinity’s MLS Program as well as Contracts 1 and 2 for the FLEX J.D. Program. Professor Sites also teaches at Emmaus Bible Ministries where she equips students to engage the Bible. She is passionate about equipping students for the calling that God has for them, whether that be through teaching law or teaching the Bible.
