Creating a Community Filled with Grace and Love
The Miami-Dade campus was established in 1993 following a close relationship with Miami Christian College. In addition to its Miami campus in Kendall, Trinity Florida offers courses at its Broward County location in North Lauderdale. Today, Trinity Florida offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs represented by three schools of Trinity International University—Trinity College, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Trinity Graduate School.
At Trinity Florida, we are committed to upholding the cornerstone belief on which we were founded–that all wisdom lies in Jesus Christ. Trinity Florida students learn to think and live as Christians in an increasingly challenging culture. Whether preparing to be pastors, missionaries, teachers, counselors, scientists, corporate leaders, or public servants, whatever your calling, Trinity Florida strives for excellence in education, grounded in the inerrancy of Scripture, and the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Trinity Florida celebrates God’s kingdom diversity! Our student body represents many denominations, countries, ethnicities, and perspectives. We are convinced that the Holy Spirit moves us to embrace our differences as we seek to embody the kingdom of God on earth. Together, we work hard to create an intentional community filled with grace and love.

Dan Laliberte

“When we prayed in class, I felt God there with me. Trinity is not just a name. It’s family. Being there opened my heart and soul to God.”

Silvia Barbu
BA in Elementary Education
“They weren’t just professors; they were friends. They were people that I did ministry with. And it was the same thing in the Counseling program. They are now colleagues who refer people to me for counseling”

Juan Gallo
BA in Christian Ministry/MA in Mental Health Counseling
“I prayed to the Lord and asked that if he wanted me to go to school and earn this degree, then he would provide the funds for me to attend TIU-Florida. I knew I would receive the biblical integration in psychology that I would need to be successful at helping the community around me find healing, truth, and redemption.”

Christine Koester
BA in Psychology/MA in Mental Health Counseling
“Studying at Trinity not only helped me make connections with different people, churches, and ministries, but it provided me with an education that is second to none.”

Jessica Waddell
BA in Christian Ministry
“Pretty much everything I learned at Trinity has positioned me to be the most effective I can be.”

Jose Fontanez
MA in Mental Health Counseling
“When you walk into my classroom, you’re just not getting me as a professor, you’re getting me as a brother in Christ who will walk with you through this journey. That’s what I got as a student at TIU-Florida, and that’s what I hope I give to my current students now…support, structure, and accountability. It’s a very loving community.”

Clifford Mack
MA in Mental Health Counseling
“I think education is really the key and very, very important. And Trinity Florida is a school that really works with adult learners to ensure that you are successful and that you meet your goals of getting an education.”
