2021 Commencement

On behalf of Trinity International University, we are looking forward to celebrating the Trinity Florida class of 2021. This year you have adjusted to new ways of learning, studying and communicating. Your patience, persistence and hope is what go you to the finish line and now its time to celebrate your success!

Graduation Ceremony

This year’s Commencement for the Trinity Florida class of 2021 will be held Saturday, May 8 at 12:00 p.m. at Parkridge Church, 5600 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs.

  • Our Commencement ceremonies will be held in full compliance to Florida state government policies. To maintain health and safety standards, the 2021 Commencement will be a ticketed event.
  • Each student will be allowed no more than 5 guests to ensure the adequate safety of everyone in attendance.
  • Everyone must be masked and remain masked for this event unless they are one of the speakers and only while they are at the microphone.


Each student will be allowed up to 5 guests. Children 2 and younger if sitting on an adult’s lap are allowed without a ticket. While we understand this is a smaller number than normal, we hope that bringing some key supporters, family members, and friends will help you feel celebrated and honor the people who helped you through your Trinity journey. All other family members, friends, and supporters are welcome to watch the ceremony through our youtube channel. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding in this unique and challenging time.

Tickets will be available for pick up at the same time as your regalia for 2021 graduands. The 2020 graduates’ tickets will be given out during April 12-14, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., either at the Broward or Kendall campus.  You must call to make an appointment for pick up. All appointments must be made by April 8, 2021. Please note that we are following guidelines set by the State of Florida for
social distancing. Guests will be able to sit with their party only, and seating will allow for space between groups.


The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you need special accommodations, we are happy to assist. Please send an email to [email protected] with any concerns. Ample parking is available for those with disability permits. We are happy to serve you in any way we can!


Class of 2020 participants– are required to bring their own regalia (i.e. cap and gown), cords, etc..  These were distributed last year, if your regalia has been misplaced or damaged please contact the Trinity Florida Records Office for information on purchasing a replacement (at your own expense).  Note that appropriate regalia is required in order to participate in commencement.

Graduands 2021–If you have not already scheduled your appointment for regalia pick up, please remember to do so as soon as possible by calling 954.382.6400 or 305.421.1000.  Class of 2021 can pick up at either the Broward or Kendall site on April 12-14 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.


Free photos of all graduates that walk across the stage are provided by TIU Florida. These are the only photographers allowed near the stage and the area in front of the stage. You will be sent an email with a link to your photos after the ceremony.

Please note that personal or professional video cameras are not permitted on the stage or the area of the sanctuary in front of the stage. Those who wish to videotape the ceremony should arrive early and set up equipment in the balcony so as to not disturb the program. Photographs by family members will be permitted as long as they do not interfere with the ceremony.
