Patricia Colangelo joined Trinity International University as an adjunct in 2008. In 2013 she joined the South Florida team at TIU working in the community to develop stronger ties with the churches and businesses in the area. While taking on that role she also covered for a year as the Interim Director of Elementary Education program, and also served as the Associate Director of Academic Operations. In 2018 she took on the role as the director of Operations for Florida until her retirement in March of 2020.

Her first publication was in the Journal of American Indian Education where she and her co-author discovered a pattern of educational development that is being used for multiple indigenous cultures around the world. Her passion is studying various cultures and continuing to teach in the university setting.

Patricia has worked in multiple educational and ecumenical settings within the Pre-School through the University level, both in teaching and administration. With a passion for working with students who have a desire to learn, she continues to develop her skills in the international education field within our highly mobile community.

She has been married to William Colangelo since 1974 and they have two children and three grandchildren.
