Jonathan Ulanday grew up in Libertyville, IL, and has been teaching and performing in the Chicago area since he returned in 2011. Jonathan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY; 2011), where he studied with teachers Jon Manasse and Kenneth Grant. He also holds a Master’s Degree from DePaul University (2013), where he studied under Larry Combs, the former Principal Clarinet of the Chicago Symphony. In addition to teaching at Trinity, Jonathan maintains a small private studio and serves as Director of Worship and the Arts for LaSalle Street Church (Chicago, IL).
