Dr. Jan Hook is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.  He does individual, marital and group psychotherapy. He is in private practice at The Arlington Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Jan’s area of expertise is marriage counseling.  From 2000-2003, he acted as director of the marital restoration workshops and sexual purity workshops at Willow Creek Community Church. Jan frequently speaks on issues pertaining to marriage and sexuality. He also counsels men struggling with sex addiction, runs several men’s groups, and does speaking on men’s issues. He currently teaches Career Counseling and Human Sexuality at TEDS. Jan, along with his son, Joshua co-authored the book, Helping groups heal (2017).

Jan has been married to Cheryl for 44 years and has one adult son, Josh.
