Portraits of the Messiah: An Old Testament Series from the Prophets
Andrew Abernethy (Associate Professor of Old Testament, Wheaton College) will teach on Isaiah 52:13-53:12.
The figure of “the Messiah” is one of the most central themes in the Old Testament. Numerous progressively revealed prophecies play a vital role in the development of this theme—painting an increasingly illuminated portrait. This dynamic chapel series takes some of the important messianic passages and gives exposition to their content and their function in understanding this crucial theme, giving clarity to each passage’s role in the Christian life.
Seating is limited and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. The chapel sessions can be found on TIU’s YouTube page here.
