Fireside Theology | Persecuted but Not Forsaken: A Christian Response to Suffering in the Context of Pakistan

Fireside Theology 54

Through meetings on select Thursdays, Fireside Theology provides a place to do theologizing, to make conversation over vital issues while reflecting on scripture and God’s words (one might even say systematically). Intercultural: By this, we signal that we each come to this conversation from our situatedness: culturally, socially, ethnically, and on the qualifiers could go. We do not change the words of God but allow our questions to engage the ongoing conversation of what God is doing in this world.

May 4 at 11 am – 12:15 pm in Rodine 128

Presenter: Shahbaz

All are welcome to engage in the ongoing conversation on the church and societies as we continue an ongoing conversation through intercultural theologizing. Through the fall and spring, a number of social locations and concerns related to the church living faithfully as God’s people in bold humility witnessing to God’s work in the world have taken us on a journey of reflection. May we keep growing in community and Christlikeness.
