Every semester, the Trinity Deerfield community observes a day of prayer to celebrate God’s faithfulness, take our concerns to him as a community, and fellowship with one another.
This year our theme is “Seeking God.” Isaiah 55:6–7 says, “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”
A few things to note:
After chapel throughout the remainder of the day, the Intercultural Development Office, the International Student and Scholar Office, and Mosaic Ministries are hosting an interactive prayer experience titled: “Resting Together as the Global Church.” Throughout the day, there will be guided prayer stations set up, centering around the theme of collectively finding rest as the global Body of Christ. Swing by the Mosaic and IDO Lounges in Lower Waybright whenever you have time (b/t 12–6 PM) and participate at your own pace!
