How should we think about moral and ethical issues related to healthcare, scientific research, and emerging technology? The MA in Ethics, Theology, and Culture with a concentration in Bioethics from TEDS will provide you with the ethical and theological understanding you need to approach these questions with skill and care. Our program will equip you to work in healthcare, science, law, advocacy, clergy, and more.

The Human Flourishing Concentration within the MA in Ethics, Theology, and Culture prepares students to engage thoughtfully with the complex interplay of culture, ethics, and human well-being. Rooted in a theological and interdisciplinary framework, this concentration equips students to explore questions of justice, dignity, and holistic mission in diverse ministry and organizational settings. Whether serving in churches, NGOs, or parachurch ministries, students will develop a deeper understanding of how ethical and theological principles shape human flourishing across cultural contexts.
Students meet with the Program Director to customize core concentration courses (8 hrs in Bioethics, Mission and Evangelism, or Systematic Theology) based on vocational interests and/or context. Students also will have the opportunity to choose from additional electives.

The Doctor of Philosophy program in Educational Studies incorporates particular concept areas to expand your professional capacities in research and educational leadership.
