Are you passionate about mentoring youth to live on mission for Christ? Mission Bible Church in Highland, IN, is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor to lead our middle and high school ministries. This role focuses on discipling junior and senior high students. You’ll collaborate with families, recruit and equip volunteers, and cultivate a Christ-centered community for youth. Ideal candidates will bring a heart for Jesus, a gift for leadership, and a commitment to fostering lifelong spiritual growth in youth. If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect!

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for Youth Pastor meets the biblical qualifications of an elder (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1) and aligns with the doctrinal statement of Mission Bible Church. They have a personal, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, modeling Christlike character in all relationships. We would prefer at least three years of experience working with children and youth and a bachelor’s degree in a ministry or Bible-related field. But we are willing to work with right candidate even if they may lack either of those. They demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and a collaborative spirit, with a passion for helping youth grow in their faith. Energetic and warm, they effectively counsel families, work well on a team, and remain committed to professional growth.

Why this is a great place to work: Mission Bible Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based church in a suburb of Chicago. Recently, our long-time youth pastor has transitioned to become the senior pastor of the church. The youth group is thriving with youth group attendance equal to about 20-25% of the attendance at church for a Sunday morning worship service. The church is located right across the street from the local Jr. High and High School campuses.
