Youth Group Pastor

Lakeview Covenant Church is seeking a “Half-Time” Youth Pastor to shepherd our youth group students. We are specifically looking for a candidate who will do the ministry in English, but bilingual is preferred (a Korean). We welcome all applicants who are either biblically trained or presently being trained in a seminary or Bible college institution. They must have a heart to lead and develop leaders for God’s Kingdom. The bulk of ministry would happen on Fridays and Sundays (excluding church retreats and other events).

Responsibilities would include: • Overall shepherding for the youth group (about 60-70 students) • Discipling them, along with the teachers • Organizing events and activities (retreats, events, etc.) • Leading worship (twice on Sundays) for the youth • Preaching occasionally in the EC • Attending weekly staff meetings for accountability

Description Capacity: half-time (25-27 hours per week)

Salary: $3000/month

Benefits – Visitation & Gas: $1000/year. Continuing Education: $500/year.
