Wilderness Instructor Intern

Discovery Ministries is a Christian adventure camp that seeks to invite believers to discover the adventurous life in Christ discovered in the midst of adversity and at the end of the trial.

Position/Roles: Discovery Ministries is offering a summer internship in Christian outdoor leadership. Not skilled in the disciplines of the backcountry? We will train you. We are looking to work with people passionate about discipleship and willing to embrace challenges. Expect excellent training in a variety of disciplines like camp craft, rock climbing, paddling, and guiding wilderness expeditions. More importantly, anticipate learning and sharpening skills like group discipleship and facilitation. At Discovery Ministries interns join the staff community, growing through life-on-life relationships, service, and spiritual formation.

Beyond experience, interns can expect to have their needs met. Discovery Ministries gives interns a $500/month grant and free lodging. Also, interns have many of their meals provided as they often eat with groups. Fill out our quick application to get connected!
