Senior Pastor

Elizabethtown Baptist Church, located in the county seat of Bladen County, North Carolina is prayerfully seeking to call the next pastor of our church. Elizabethtown Baptist Church is a diverse church with a 122-year-old history of worship and ministry. All ministries of our church seek to honor God and equip the congregation to be mature and effective “Disciples of Christ”. The ministries of our church include music and youth programs and are currently establishing 2 and 3-year Pre-K classes. Our church supports the Bladen Baptist Association, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of NC, Baptist State Convention and male and female leadership within the church.

The Senior Pastor of Elizabethtown Baptist Church will be expected to provide visionary leadership for the congregation’s future. They will possess strong leadership skills with a focus on worship, biblical preaching / teaching, pastoral care for our members and lead or participate in outreach ministries in our community. Our new Pastor will be expected to work in collaboration with the church ministry staff, committee members and lay leaders to ensure that our church and congregation continues to strive to meet our main priorities of: • Developing Disciples of Christ • Utilizing the Christian Activity Center to support the community and to bring others to Christ. The preferred candidate will have a Master of Divinity Degree from and accredited Christian Seminary and significant experience in the ministry.
