Non-DenominationalSt. Peter’s First Community Church is seeking a pastor to shepherd our congregation in the town of Huntington, IN (pop. 17,000). SPFCC is a small, friendly, non-denominational, Bible-teaching church that has been in existence since 1859. Average Sunday morning attendance is typically around 80 people with a handful more watching via the live stream. Congregants range from young families to older couples and individuals across a fairly even distribution. Qualifications: Below are the qualifications we are looking for our new pastor to meet:
*A deep relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to spiritual growth. *A degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution. *Proven experience in pastoral ministry, spiritual leadership, and community engagement. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities: Here is a non-exhaustive list of the responsibilities and duties the pastor of St. Peter’s First Community Church must fill: *Deliver engaging, Spirit-filled sermons that align with our doctrinal beliefs found on our website (https://www.spfcc.org/values). *Provide pastoral care and counseling to congregation members. *Collaboration with leadership teams staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth daily operation of the church and its ministries.
