Elementary Children’s Director

Position Summary: Jubilee Bible Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Children’s Director to oversee and coordinate our elementary children’s ministry (1st-5th grade), including our Sunday Children’s Church.

Minimum Requirements: A Christian of good character and ethical conduct. A passion and vision for ministering to children and their families. Strong administrative/organization skills to include communication, planning, delegation and leadership. Be in agreement with the Jubilee Bible Church doctrinal statement and values.

Essential Responsibilities: Direct the Sunday Elementary Children’s Church, including teaching, and preparing necessary materials. The church uses the Gospel Project curriculum. Recruit, train, and coordinate a team of volunteers. Develop and manage schedules for all children’s ministry activities. Ensure that curriculum materials, supplies, and equipment are prepared and available. Communicate through a weekly email to parents, providing updates on children’s learning and ministry activities. Plan and organize Summer kids camp along with the preschool Children’s director. Lead volunteer training meetings on a quarterly basis to enhance communication and teamwork. Attend staff meetings and provide ministry updates.

Hours: About 10 hours per week.
