Assistant / Associate Pastor (Cantonese, Chinese and English speaking)

Overview: The Assistant/Associate Pastor will be responsible for various aspects of ministry, including preaching and teaching in Cantonese Chinese for adults, leading weekly English-speaking youth fellowship bible study, pastoral care ministry to the congregation, pastoral care, and outreach to the community.

Position Title: Assistant/Associate Pastor

Position Status: Full-time Accountability

Lead Pastor Principal Function: Preaching and Teaching, Pastoral Care, Worship Leadership, Outreach and Community Engagement, Discipleship, Leadership Development and Ministry Coordination.

Other Responsibilities: Various administrative tasks and other ministry tasks assigned by Lead Pastor.

Qualifications: 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9. Have a clear testimony of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Graduate from an accredited seminary of Evangelical Faith with a Master Degree of Divinity (MDiv) or Master Degree of Theology (ThM). Doctrinally align with our statement of faith, vision, mission, and core values of Skywalk Bible Church. A team player with servant leadership. Be loyal, dependable, and accountable to leadership and ministries of the church. Able to speak fluent Cantonese Chinese and English. Preferred minimum of 2 years of job experience.
