Yet the Gospel writers are themselves “theologizing” in light of the arrival of the Messiah, and they offer rich theological stories for interpretation and preaching. A captivating theme in Luke’s Gospel expressed narratively is hospitality. In this lecture, Jeannine Brown will explore that theme and how Luke theologizes toward it.
