The Clothes Horse

The Clothes Horse is an on-campus ministry that provides clothes, toys, food, and small household items free of charge to graduate students and their families. Faculty wives began this ministry at Trinity over 50 years ago, and the ministry of the Clothes Horse is made possible today by the work and contributions of many people.

Donations

The Clothes Horse accepts donations during business hours of gently used or like-new items of items on this list:

  • clothing of all sizes
  • toys
  • small household items
  • non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, cereal, rice, tuna, pasta, and canned fruit (Please do not bring expired goods.)

We do not accept large furniture items. There is very little space in the store, so all items must be small enough to hang on a rack or sit on a shelf. Large furniture items can be donated to the furniture room for international students. For information on the storage room or to make a donation, contact Alan Ramsland at [email protected].
